印刷纸张的性能要求达标要求
纸张能否顺利地高质量地用于印刷,取决于纸张的印刷适性。印刷对纸张的要求是:纸张的色调尽可能地达到同一质地的色泽纯度,纸张的尘埃度不得超过允许的范围,具有小的透光率,并有保证正常印刷时的机械强度,纸张的厚度、紧度、结构特性等要在同一印刷批量中保持相同,纸边应为直角且斜度误差不能超过±3mm。

The requirements for printing paper are: the color tone of the paper shall reach the color purity of the same texture as far as possible, the dust degree of the paper shall not exceed the allowable range, have the minimum light transmittance, and ensure the mechanical strength during normal printing, and the thickness, tightness and structural characteristics of the paper shall be the same in the same printing batch, The paper edge shall be right angle and the slope error shall not exceed ± 3mm.
纸张的平滑度:纸张的平滑度直接决定着印刷品的印刷品质。平滑度高的纸张在压印时,能较好地与版面进行接触,使印版上的油墨层能够均匀地转移到纸面上,平滑度低的纸张,会因为印刷时表面的不平整,造成压印时版面与纸张的表面接触不均匀,使油墨层的转移到纸面上进呈现不均匀的现象,如碰上平滑度较低的纸张,可以在印刷时适当地加大印刷时的压力,可以适当地弥补因其表面不平而出现的印迹发虚的现象。

纸张的吸墨性:纸张对油墨的吸收,主要取决于纸张的纤维间的紧密程度(空隙的大小)。当纸张纤维间的空隙小时,因帚化纤维过少,使纤维毛细管的作用受到影响,造成纸张对油墨的吸收性降低;如果纸张纤维间的空隙过大,会因吸收连接料过多而造成油墨颜料一并被吸收,使印刷品出现透印的现象。

纸张的弹性和塑性:纸张在屯放、印刷等各种过程中,会因为周边环境的不同而发生各种变化。如在外力的作用下,会瞬时地改变自己的形状和尺寸,而当外力停止时,纸张又会恢复到原来的形状和尺寸,这种变形的过程称为敏弹性变形;当纸张受到外力时在一定期捍间间隔内改变了自己的形状和尺寸,外力停止作用时则慢慢地恢复到原来的形状和尺寸,这种变形的过程称为滞弹性变形;当外力取消之后,纸张还是保持在受外力作用时造成的形状与尺寸变形的状态时,称为塑性变形。敏弹性变形、滞弹性变形是一种可逆性的变形,而塑性变形是不可逆的变形。

纸张的表面强度:纸张的表面强度决定着纸张在印刷时其表面的耐磨性、抗掉粉、抗起毛等有决定性的影响。印刷时为了得到较为清晰的网点,会采用一些粘度较高的油墨,如果纸张的表面强度不够,就会容易掉粉、掉毛现象,并粘附在版的表面;如果使用较低粘度的油墨,在平版印刷中,会因油墨与润版液乳化,从而造成印版空白的地方污脏。

纸张的含水量:纸张的含水量的多少,直接影响着印刷品的质量,含水量过多,纸张的强度会降低,在外力的作用下,纸张纤维会被拉出,使塑性变形增强,使印迹的干燥速度受到影响;如含水量过少,纸张会发脆,容易造成破损,产生静电等。由于纸张的含水量与周围的环境有很大的相关性,所以对于印刷机房的湿度和温度都要进行恰当的安排,以保持纸张含水量的平衡。
