打样采用的是数码打印，就是平时所说的快印，直接是喷墨打印机单张打印出来，用来看颜色效果排版格式。画册打样和大货印刷经常会不太一样，除了颜色，画册材质装订也通常都有所区别，有特殊工艺的也无法打样展示。因此，数码打样只能用来参考校对内容，不能以此为准。

二、传统上机打样

传统上机打样需要出版上机，成本高、时间长，而且由人工操作。有个别客户对印刷品的颜色要求特别高，要求打样颜色与印刷大货尽量接近，那么久只能选择传统上机打样。

画册印刷也分两种印刷方式，分专版印刷和拼版印刷。

1、专版印刷采用的是一个版只做一个商家的产品。进行颜色处理要更加饱满细腻，但是这种专版就像私人定制，一版印刷只做一个客户的肯定要饱满细腻些也要稍微贵一些。一般画册都是用专版印刷。

2、拼版印刷则是在画册印刷的版面上放好几个客户的版面，拼够一张4开，或者更大的开数，再或者几张四开一起来印刷，这样颜色的布局显然要分散很多。一般是小单页、名片等数量少页数少的会用拼版印刷。这种方式的印刷报价会比专版要便宜一些，但是质量不如专版。
